Shipping Update: We're Upgrading to Serve You Better

Published Aug 1, 2025. Updated Aug 30, 2025.

At Soul Lift Cacao, we’re always looking for ways to improve your experience of ordering cacao on our website and receiving it at your doorstep.

As part of that ongoing process, we’re making a shift to a new shipping service in August.

This change will help us move from shipping only twice a week—on Tuesdays and Fridays—to shipping orders every weekday, Monday through Friday.

It’s an important step toward greater reliability and faster turnaround for your orders.

To implement this upgrade, there will likely be a short pause in shipping in mid-August. We’ll do our best to make this transition as smooth as possible, and we’ll keep you informed if the timeline shifts in the top announcement bar of the website. (See below about changes to Local Pickup)

August is basically the slowest month for a cacao business, so it's the best possible time to make this switch.

We expect the delays to continue through Sept 2, with frequent shipping resuming on Sept 3.

So if you'll need cacao in August, we recommend that you place an order by August 11 so that we can ship it on August 12!

We’ll still offer a range of shipping options to meet different budgets and delivery needs (USPS Priority Mail and Ground Advantage, plus UPS). That part isn’t changing.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this change. It’s an important move that will help us serve you better in the long run.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us!

A NOTE ON LOCAL PICKUP

This change means that we will not be able to offer local pickup of online orders for a period of time. Any online orders will only be deliverable via shipping, even in Portland.

We will keep our products in stock at our cacao studio in Ladd's Addition (SE Portland) as much as possible, so you can come in during open hours and buy something in person.
