Jicara (Gourd Cup)

Jícaras (pronounced "HEE-cah-rahs") have been used throughout history as cups, and are still used to this day for sacred drinks in Latin America.

"Jícara" is Spanish for gourd. These ones are about 4-6" across the opening and are uncarved. They come from Utz K'aslemal, the makers of La Noche cacao, from Sololá, in the Western Highlands of Guatemala.

*Hand-wash only

*Each order quantity is for one jícara

We also sell reed rings to set a jicara on while it contains a drink.
