Super smooth, not too bitter, not too acidic, all around great! This is probably the richest cacao I’ve tried so far and it takes easily to adding in spices and milk. 10/10!!
I’m so in love with this cacao. It is more balanced and smooth with subtle coffee and nut notes. It is amazing on its own, blended with some butter, or in bulletproof coffee.
I love that pure flavor in the cacao. Is the Best I have consumed so far.

This cacao originates near the mouth of the Lanquin River in Alta Verapaz. Stewarded by the Q'eqchi people, the beans are fermented and dried by a cooperative that unites isolated farmers, and prepared into paste by the Cacao Source women's collective at Lake Atitlan. The flavor profile is balanced, sweet, and nutty. *Our labels and branding are approved by the producers, and we have their consent to share the cacao for the betterment of humanity.*
Cacao has been celebrated as “Food of the Gods” in Central and South America since ancient times, long before the chocolate industry altered the original treasure.
Every purchase of this cacao supports Mayan indigenous people through ethical direct trade, and helps them preserve their spiritual traditions and values. For more info about us and our partners, visit
