Jicara (Gourd Cup)

Notify me when this product is available:

Jicaras (pronounced "hee-cah-rahs") have been used throughout history as cups, and are still used to this day for drinking cacao in Mayan ceremonies.

"Jicara" is Spanish for gourd. These ones are about 3-4" tall and carved with imagery by artisans at Lake Atitlán in the western highlands of Guatemala.
