Delightfully decadent

I absolutely love this creamy TukTuk cacao paste. Not as chocolatey or rich as my beloved Heart of the Earth, but delightful with a slightly sweet caramel flavor. TukTuk is like treating yourself to a decadent, blissful dessert!

Beautiful Flavor

I believe this to be my favorite so far. It's beautiful, rich and very grounding. I used it at one of my recent Cacao Ceremonies and Sound Baths and everyone wanted a 2nd serving. It was a huge hit. I am happy to have another flavor to share with others. Thank you for having so much variety. I'll be buying more of this as well as others.

So Delicious & Made with Love!

This is one my favorite cacao varieties from Soul Lift Cacao. It has a chocolatey flavor and is so calming and warming. As someone who is sensitive to caffeine, I like how it has minimal caffeine as well. You can tell this cacao is made with intention and love.

Love it so much can't try other kinds!

This paste doesn't need sweetener! I put a tiny bit of high grade dark agave and it's perfect. This is the second batch I've gotten and it is so good I can't bring myself to try any of the others. Maybe some day. . . .

From the special village of Lanquin in the heart of Guatemala comes Tuk Tuk cacao! The name comes from the "auto-rickshaws" that are a common way of getting around in Guatemala. The cacao is grown by a cooperative of family farmers in Lanquin, and prepared into paste by Catarina and her network of Mayan women at Lake Atitlan. Tuk Tuk offers a hint of caramel, slight tart flavor, and smooth energy.

Cacao has been considered sacred in Mesoamerica for thousands of years, long before the chocolate industry altered the original treasure. It has numerous superfood benefits, and can also deepen introspective practices like yoga and meditation.

Every purchase of this cacao supports Mayan indigenous people through ethical direct trade, and helps them preserve their spiritual traditions and values. For more info about us and our partners, visit our Sources page.

DIRECTIONS
To make a drink of ceremonial cacao, finely chop the cacao. Measure 1/4 cup ground cacao and 6-8 oz of hot water (steaming but not boiling). Mix with a blender (with caution!), handheld frother, or other agitator to fully melt the cacao. Optional: Add a dash of cayenne pepper and natural sweetener to taste. Enjoy!

Cacao can also be added to smoothies, oatmeal, ice cream, and other foods. Experiment with making your own chocolates or bliss balls!
